Who ~ Welcome to my website; my name is John B. Whalen, Jr., Esq. I focus my practice in the legal areas of Estate Planning (Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Trusts, and Wills); Estate Administration (Decedents Estates, Probate, Ancillary Probate, and Inheritance); Guardianship and Guardianship Administration; and Burial and Cemetery Law. What ~ I work on an almost always flat fee structure, despite the amount of time that will be involved in your situation. All of this is discussed at your free initial consultation. Should you desire to engage my services, you will know our fixed-fee agreement. Should you desire not to engage my services, you will owe me nothing. Where ~ I serve my clients primarily in Chester County (Devon, Exton, Malvern, Paoli, Valley Forge, Wayne, West Chester, etc.), Delaware County (Media, Springfield, etc.), Montgomery County (King of Prussia, Norristown, Etc.), and Philadelphia County, Pa; and serve, and have served, my clients in all of the locales listed at the bottom of every page of my Website. When ~ I work by appointment only and my services occur at the location of your choice, most notably at my clients' homes, and these appointments occur on all days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The practice of Estate Law, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration in the twenty-first (21st) century is extremely conducive to having lawyers and attorneys serving clients more effectively and efficiently with free initial consultations, flat fee structures, and home, hospice, and/or hospital visits and personalized service on all days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. I conduct my practice in this manner because my goal is to ensure that my clients are aware of all aspects of their desires, comfortable with the process, and confident with me.
